Tajikistan: Regional Power Transmission Project
The project aimed to expand and modernize the transmission network, which was a precondition to reduce system losses, improve energy efficiency, and facilitate power trade with neighboring countries covered by the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program. It also aimed to improve Barki Tojik’s operational performance, paving the way for the much-needed sector reforms.

People's Republic of China: Strategies for Involving Social Organizations in Social Assistance
The objective of this technical assistance (TA) was to assist the Ministry of Civil Affairs in developing strategies for involving social organizations in the delivery of social assistance as part of a broader government agenda of addressing concentrations of persistent poverty in the People’s Republic of China through improved quality and reach of social assistance to vulnerable households.
