2016 Annual Evaluation Review

ONGOING EVALUATION. The Annual Evaluation Review (AER) is one of the flagship reports of the Asian Development Bank's (ADB's) Independent Evaluation Department (IED). It is IED's annual brief to ADB's Board, Management, and stakeholders about the state of ADB's operational effectiveness. The AER is based primarily on the findings of recent IED reports and knowledge products.

To continue advancing, however, the region must tackle the increasingly complex challenges of, among others, slowing economic growth, rising inequality, runaway climate change, and weak governance.
