At the ECG Fall meeting held in Washington DC in December 2014, a special open session was organized by the independent Development Evaluation Offices of the African Development Bank (IDEV) and the Inter-American Development Bank (OVE) on "Climate Change and Green Growth: An Evaluation Perspective”.
Prepared by the Independent Evaluation Department of the Asian Development Bank on behalf of ECG, ECG paper #7 synthesizes the findings of 14 recent knowledge management evaluation studies and related reports from the evaluation units of six ECG member institutions namely AfDB, AsDB, IFAD, IMF and the World Bank. The objective of the paper is to identify commonalities in these reports that would provide lessons of more general use to those in IFIs trying to improve knowledge management.
The European Investment Bank have recently published two new evaluation reports.
The first, EIB Technical Assistance Outside the EU, 2003-2013, covers TA outside the EU from 2003 to 2013 and assesses the Bank's performance in this area, and provides conclusions and recommendations for improvement at strategic and operational level.
