Evaluation Headlines is an online interview series launched by the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) of the Asian Development Bank IED at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, the European Investment Bank’s Inspectorate General is hosting a conference on 
“Public Accountability”
to be held on 27 October 2021, 9:15 - 12.30.

Addressing the major societal challenges ahead of us – including climate change, COVID-19 crisis recovery, gender equality, reducing poverty and inequalities – requires to make public accountability an integral part of our strategy. 

The IEO invites you to a virtual conference on November 16-17 to mark the 20th anniversary of the opening of the IEO in 2011, a successor to a 10th anniversary conference in 2011. The conference will provide an occasion to discusss lessons from the experience with IEO evaluation over the past 10 years and consider the challenges to independent evaluation at the IMF going forward. The conference will run from 10:30 am to 1:15pm (DC time) each day.

The European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Union's bank, in the framework of its GRAD programme, is seeking to recruit for its Inspectorate General Directorate (IG), Evaluation Division (EV) – Knowledge Management, Products & Methods Unit (KPM) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a Graduate (GRAD). This is a full-time, temporary position.
