Ukraine: Statement at the Conclusion of an IMF Mission

Good afternoon and many thanks to Chancellor Sholz and President von der Leyen for bringing us together to discuss Ukraine’s determination to recover, reconstruct, and modernize its economy and the role we all can play in supporting its efforts. I will use my remarks today to make three points.

Mongolia: Staff Concluding Statement of the 2022 Article IV Mission

The envisaged outcome of the technical assistance (TA) was to strengthen government agency capacities to implement ADB-financed projects, and to create, use, manage, and share operational knowledge.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA.
IED overall assessment is successful.

Five new public development banks have signed onto the Paris Development Banks Statement on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Paris Development Banks Statement on Gender Equality and Women Empowerment. .

The African Development Bank has launched a multinational project to create jobs and improve livelihoods for youth in three African countries. The Creating Sustainable Youth MSMEs Through Urban Farming (SYMUF) initiative will support young farmers in Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda, who are attracted to urban farming.
