Nepal: Building Climate Resilience of Watersheds in Mountain Eco-Regions Project
The project was designed to protect and, where possible, augment water supplies in mountain watersheds to counter these trends using proven methodologies and technologies. It aimed to build long-term climate resilience, through an integrated water resource and ecosystem-based approach, and to demonstrate lessons on how best to build resilience in vulnerable mountain regions.

The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group has approved a $10 million reimbursable grant from the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA) to support a geothermal drilling program that will add 50 megawatts of renewable energy to Ethiopia’s power system.
