Support for energy efficiency projects in the Polish housing sector
The European Investment Bank (EIB), acting as a Fund of Funds Manager under Regional Operational Programmes, signed three operational agreements for the total amount of PLN 273 million (approx. EUR 64 million equivalent) with Getin Noble Bank S.A., one of the leading banks in the Polish housing sector. The goal is to provide loans for the much-needed thermo-modernisation of multi-family residential buildings in three Polish regions: Pomerania, Mazovia and Kujawsko-Pomorskie.

Nepal: School Sector Program
This program performance evaluation report was undertaken to assess the performance of the School Sector Program (SSP) in Nepal.
Using a policy-based lending modality, the SSP was designed to support a broad education sector reform program, under a sector wide approach. Its overarching objective was the enhancement of educational attainments and livelihoods in Nepal, particularly for girls and disadvantaged groups.
EIB at ethics network conference in New York
The EIB, through its Group Chief Compliance Officer Gerhard Hütz, took part in the 10th conference of the Ethics Network of Multilateral Organisations (ENMO), which brings together the most senior professionals responsible for the Ethics functions in multilateral institutions. The event took place at the UN Ethics Office in New York from 10 to 13 July.
