Washington, DC – December 10, 2024: The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the Article IV consultation with the Republic of San Marino. The Board considered and endorsed the staff appraisal on a lapse of time basis.
Mr. Nigel Clarke, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), issued the following statement today in Nairobi at the conclusion of his visit to Kenya over December 8–10, 2024: “I want to express my deep appreciation to the Kenyan authorities and Kenyan people for their incredible hospitality during my first visit to Kenya as IMF Deputy Managing Director.
• Somalia’s program performance has been strong, demonstrating the authorities’ steadfast commitment to macroeconomic stability and strengthening institutional capacity and frameworks.

IMF Executive Board Approves Resilience and Sustainability Facility Arrangement and Completes the Third Reviews Under the Extended Credit Facility and Extended Fund Facility Arrangements for Papua New Guinea

The IMF Executive Board today completed the third review of Ghana’s 36-month Extended Credit Facility Arrangement. This allows for the immediate disbursement of SDR 269.1 million (about US$360 million).
