Following is a list of ECG good practice standards covering different categories of evaluations carried out by multilateral development banks (MDBs). These individual documents were produced by the ECG over the years, and have been consolidated into a living online product called the Good Practice Standards (GPS) Big Book.
GPS on Country Strategy and Program Evaluations
Country strategy and program evaluations (CSPEs) seek to describe and explain the performance of an MDB at the country level. They question whether the country program did the right things, in terms of whether the design and its implementation were right for the circumstances of the country.

GPS on the Evaluation of Private Sector Operations, Fourth Edition
This fourth edition of the GPS on the Evaluation of Private Sector Operations builds and improves upon previous GPS. It reflects on the evolution of evaluation practices and the scope of investment operations undertaken by International Financial Institutions (IFIs). It also takes into account feedback from previous benchmarking exercises, was well as the experiences of members in implementing the existing set of standards.
