Tajikistan: Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Corridors 3 and 5 Enhancement Project

The project was approved to address the need to enhance the Sayron-Karamyk section to extend road service life and improve road safety and maintenance for better serviceability. The project's expected impact was enhanced regional economic cooperation and inclusive economic growth in Tajikistan. Its envisaged outcome was improved regional network (CAREC corridors 3 and 5 and the subnetwork) connectivity.

Tuvalu: Improved Fiscal and Infrastructure Management Program

The program facilitated reforms aimed at improving public financial management (PFM) and infrastructure management. It sought to improve the quality, efficiency, and accountability of Tuvalu’s public financial system and practices. The program also supported the strengthening of Tuvalu’s institutional and legal framework to better construct, manage, and maintain public and private physical assets—with the objective of improving service delivery.

India: Capacity Building of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency

The technical assistance (TA) project aimed to improve the capacity of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) in financial and risk management practices to ensure timely and effective project implementation, monitoring and review, compliance, and closure. The TA project also supported IREDA to efficiently and effectively mobilize available development funds to catalyze private sector investment, and facilitate renewable energy development in India.

Indonesia: Eastern Indonesia Sustainable Energy Access Sector Project

The dual objectives of Asian Development Bank’s (ADB’s) project preparation technical assistance (PPTA) were to (a) prepare all documents for a sector loan for the Sustainable Energy Access in Eastern Indonesia–Power Generation Sector Project (PGSP) and core subprojects to be considered for ADB financing; and (b) support Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in securing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply contract.
