The EBRD’s operational engagement in healthcare equipment and services was minimal for most of its first two decades. After extensive internal debate, the EBRD introduced an Updated Approach (UA) in 2014 for engagement in specific areas of healthcare services. This evaluation is the first focused EvD effort to assess activities under the UA.
