India: MFF-Madhya Pradesh Power Sector Investment Program (Tranche 4)
From 2002–2006, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) helped the Government of Madhya Pradesh to improve the energy sector policy and governance and promote efficiency gains and loss reduction. These efforts were coordinated with those of other development partners to maximize the value of sector reforms and physical investments. In continuing the support for Madhya Pradesh, the multi-tranche financing facility (MFF) modality was deemed to be particularly well suited for the investment program given the need for a flexible, multi-step approach to implementation.
