The project preparatory technical assistance (TA) aimed to support the preparation of the proposed multitranche financing facility (MFF) for the Delhi Water Supply Improvement Investment Program (DWSIIP) to improve the existing water supply system in the North of Delhi and enhance the institutional and financial management capacity of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). The TA was designed to (i) undertake sector preparatory work, define the scope of the ensuing project, and undertake technical feasibility assessment, safeguards due diligence, and financial and economic viability assessment of the investment; (ii) assist the DJB on advance contracting actions for tranche 1 project of the proposed MFF; and (iii) assist DJB in establishing service-level benchmarks (SLBs) for tranche 2 project.
