Africa has what it takes to accelerate climate action through fourth industrial revolution technologies and innovations, experts say

The African Development Bank brought together various development and industry experts to discuss the potential of fourth industrial revolution technologies and innovations to tackle climate change in Africa.
The virtual panel — “Harnessing the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) to Build Africa’s Climate Resilience: Practical case studies and experiences” — took place on the 31st March 2022 as part of the Second Global Gobeshona Conference., For more on this topic, visit our website dedicated to the African Development Bank Group’s Annual Meetings. The theme of the 2022 Annual Meetings, being held from 23 to 27 May in Accra, is “Achieving Climate Resilience and a Just Energy Transition for Africa.”
