Any user can create a discussion. Just click on "Add new discussion" on the Discussion Board homepage. There are currently only a few discussion types but if you want to add one, let the Secretariat know so we can create one for you. 

If you want to close your discussion, just go back in and change the Status to "Closed" and which point no more comments will be accepted. 

What's the "tagging" tab?

If you wish to link your discussion to your particular institution, then you can tag it. The tagged institution will then appear in the "Related 

Editing

You can edit the discussion once posted through the Edit tab on the discussion homepage. 

Subscribing

If you want to follow a particular discussion, click on "add to subscriptions" on the Discussions Board homepage. This discussion will then appear in a users bar on the right hand side of your screen for ease of access.
