The 10th African Economic Conference is over

Leaving no one behind in the development agenda will require taking bold steps by African governments including strengthening the role of the state in economic transformation to address poverty and inequality on the continent. This is in addition to accelerating the process of structural transformation and making it more equitable, inclusive, resilient and sustainable, integrating the green dimensions. This was underscored during the closing ceremony of the 10th African Economic Conference that opened on Monday and concluded Wednesday in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic Congo.

La 10e Conférence économique africaine a fermé ses portes

Pour ne laisser personne à la traîne dans la marche du développement, les gouvernements africains devront faire preuve d'audace, et renforcer notamment le rôle de l'État dans la transformation économique, pour mieux lutter contre la pauvreté et les inégalités sur le continent.
Il faut aussi accélérer le processus de transformation structurelle et le rendre plus équitable, plus inclusif, plus résistant et plus durable, et le doter d'une dimension écologique. Telles ont été les conclusions mises en lumière lors de la cérémonie de clôture de la 10e Conférence économique africaine qui s'est conclue mercredi, à Kinshasa, en République démocratique du Congo.
