The Amazon forest provides habitat for 16,000 tree and 2,500 fish species. It also feeds 33 million people living in its wetlands, and is vital for the global climate. To sustain its biodiversity and ecosystem services that we all depend on, we need to find more sustainable ways of managing the forest.
